When you request a check, we receive the website address you enter and inspect publicly accessible pages. We create a score and report from those pages. If you request the report, we collect your email address, the checked website, the report score and whether you checked the optional contact box. If you send a contact request, we collect the name, email, website, company and message you provide.
Our hosting provider and analytics tools may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages visited and referral information. We do not use the website check to measure whether chatbots recommend your business.
How we use it
- To run website checks, display results and send the report you requested.
- To respond to your questions and, if you specifically request contact about fixing issues, discuss next steps with you.
- To operate, secure and improve the site, understand usage and prevent misuse.
Providing your email for a report does not subscribe you to ongoing marketing emails. The optional contact checkbox is separate from receiving your report and is unchecked by default.
Partner introductions and sharing
If you check the optional box asking for help, AI Visibility Grade may contact you directly. If a trusted AEO partner is a better fit, we may share your email, website and report with that partner so they can contact you about the issues. We do not share a report requester’s contact details with outside AEO partners based on the report request alone. A separate “Talk to a partner” request also asks us to contact you about help.
Service providers and analytics
We use Replit to host the website and store reports and requests, and Resend to deliver report emails and request notifications. Google Tag Manager is included on the site and can load analytics tags, including Google Analytics 4 when configured; those services may set cookies or receive technical usage information. We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not currently send report-requester details to an advertising platform from our server.
These providers may process data in countries other than yours. Their own privacy notices describe their practices. Advertising pixels added in the future may require us to update this notice and the choices offered to visitors.
Retention and security
Website reports are available for retrieval for up to seven days after a check. We keep submitted contact information as needed to respond to requests and maintain business records; you may request deletion where applicable. We use access controls and service providers to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete information you submitted by using our contact form. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. If you checked the optional partner box and change your mind, contact us before an introduction is made; we cannot retract information a partner has already received.
Children and changes
This business-focused service is not intended for children. We may update this policy when our practices change and will post the updated date on this page. If we add a new advertising tag, we will update the relevant disclosure.
